Christopher Bromfield

Christopher Bromfield became a Trustee in August 2010 and is a member of the Governance Committee.  He is a retired solicitor.  He spent ten years working in the City of London and in New York before moving to Wiltshire where he was a Partner in Wansbroughs in Devizes for more than twenty five years before his retirement in July 2015.  He practised largely in commercial law with a particular interest in advising schools and charities.

Christopher was for many years a Trustee of the Allergy and Asthma Trust and the British Society of Gastroenterology.  Currently he is Chairman of The Pony Club and a Governor of Lambrook School near Ascot and of St Francis School in Pewsey.  In his retirement he enjoys getting to know Wiltshire better and taking the opportunity to travel.  He is married to Clare who is the District Commissioner of the Avon Vale branch of The Pony Club.  They have three children and four grandchildren.
