Grants to Individuals

Wiltshire Community Foundation offers a range of different education grants to individuals to support young people to access education and training in the county.

Below is the full list of grants available and you will be able to read further information on the eligibility criteria for each grant from the table links below. Grant Programme

Grant Available 

University Bursary - One Degree More

A University Bursary is available to young people from Wiltshire and Swindon who are under 25 and are about to start or are currently

enrolled on an Undergraduate Degree course at a UK university.

£1500 per year, plus the possibility of an

extra £500 for certain situations and courses.

Vocational Grant

Vocational Grants are open to individuals aged between 14 and 25 to support course costs - especially vocational courses - as well as

young people on Apprenticeships or looking to start a business.

Applicants must live in Swindon or Wiltshire and either they or their parents/ carers must be in receipt of means tested benefits.

Up to £1000 

Education Support Grant

Education Support Grants are open to individuals up to the age of 25 who have a disability or additional learning need, or

have been in the care of the local authority.

Applicants must live in Swindon or Wiltshire and either they or their parents/carers are in receipt of means tested benefits or they are

in the care of Wiltshire County or Swindon Borough, either in the council's areas or elsewhere.
