Finance & Operations Director

I qualified as an accountant in 2004 and spent six years working in the theatre industry before leaving to have my son. I was then a full-time mum for two years before joining WCF.  I had very little charity experience before I joined WCF so it was a whole new world of charity accounting to get used to!

I’ve been here for just over five years now; I enjoy the variety of my role as it’s a small team, I tend to get involved with all operations!

The Finance & Operations Director contributes to the overall success of the organisation by taking strategic oversight and day-to-day responsibility for all financial and operational aspects of WCF’s business. I also oversee office management and the operations of the grants team.

Outside of the office, I am the treasurer of my son’s school PTFA and also help behind the scenes at our family café Sprout in Devizes.
